Costs

Category: Costs
Modern premium hot tubs are much more energy efficient than many people expect. Advanced insulation, efficient pumps, and intelligent heating systems help minimise electricity consumption while maintaining water temperature.
Category: Costs
The cost of a hot tub varies depending on the model, size, features, and customisation options you choose. We stock a range of Bullfrog Spas to suit different budgets and requirements. Contact our team for tailored pricing and advice.
Category: Costs
Running costs vary depending on the size of the spa, usage frequency, electricity tariffs, and outdoor temperatures. Modern Bullfrog Spas are designed with energy efficiency in mind, helping to keep operating costs as low as possible. To keep your costs down, we recommend using a thermal cover, this reduces heat loss significantly and therefore you will spend less on keeping your hot tub warm. Why heat your tub only to lose the heat through evaporation?

Maintenance

Category: Maintenance
Not at all. Modern hot tubs are designed to be simple to care for, and we can advise you on the best maintenance routine, products, and water care solutions.
Category: Maintenance
For a proper clean of your home spa and hot tub, we recommend you use chemicals to ensure complete sanitisation. For advice on what chemicals you should use for your hot tub, please contact our team today.
Category: Maintenance
Yes. We stock a range of hot tub chemicals, accessories, covers, and maintenance products to help you care for your spa and enhance your experience.
Category: Maintenance
Overtime, filters will become dirty and clogged, it is important to keep your filters clean to maintain good water quality and to protect the internals of your spa. Remove your filter and place in a bucket of filter cleaner, leave it to soak for at least 24 hours, this will allow the cleaner to break down any oils, grease and other contaminants that are sitting in your filter. Once this is done we recommend hosing your cartridge to remove any leftover cleaner and to rinse the dirt away. If you live in a hard water area your filter may need to use a pressure cleaner to remove any calcium build-up. Depending on how often you use your tub we suggest doing this every 3 months.
Category: Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps keep your water clean and your spa performing at its best. This typically includes testing water chemistry, cleaning filters, and occasional draining and refilling of the spa.
Category: Maintenance
Most hot tubs should be drained and refilled every three to four months, depending on usage and water quality.
